Music has become my outlet. I use music as my form of channeling my negative energy into positive. I have notebooks full of lyrics and songs that I basically am putting my feelings into words, where I can work them out. Through my many emotions I write down, I have been able to even sometimes have people understand and relate to how I was feeling at that moment of frustrations or stress. It is hard to explain how the words come to me, or how I make my feelings into lyrics, but somehow I do. In this outlet of relieving stress, I have discovered that songwriting is what I want to do and pursue in and out of college. My constructive hobby helped me to discover this.

When I am under stress, I recognize the symptoms of dizzy spells and my headaches. I usually will get a headache an hour or so after the initial stress affects me. These headaches do not seem to go away with aspirin, and that is how I start to recognize I am stressed. It is important to remain attentive to such symptoms and to learn to cope with the situations. People cope better with stressful situation, when they encounter them voluntarily. In cases of relocation, promotion or layoff, adventurous sports or having a baby, we tend to respond positively under stress.
