Have you ever wondered if you are really in control of your life? Did you ever think that someone else, such as "big brother", has your life already planned out for you? Well, if you say no, there is no need to fret! There have been many examples of pre-destination in our lives.
A great man named Euripides once stated, "I have found power in the mysteries of thought, exultation in the chanting of the muses; I have been versed in the reasoning of men, but fate is stronger than anything I have known." I disagree with his statement that fate is stronger than anything he knows. In any piece of literature or drama, especially back in the time of Ancient Greece, you can see many different examples of pre-destination. If you look even closer, you will notice that many ideas of pre-destiny are incomplete. Many different aspects of destiny are left shrouded in a cloud of mystery…
First of all, in the move The Matrix, pre-destination plays a big role. The Matrix, which is a life-simulating program developed by robots, allows robots to stimulate the minds of humans in order to create a power source; one which they can fuel themselves with. While they are "plugged in," humans are in semi-control of their virtual life. They can jump, talk, sing, blink, and do everything else that a regular person can do. They are destined to think that the virtual world is the real world. But, if there are some who have been "unplugged" from the life simulation, then isn't destiny a breakable course? These confusing, abstract ideas are all plot holes in the idea of pre-destiny.
In the book The Giver, Jonas's life was very unique. Therefore, he was decided to be The Giver, the one who keeps all the memories of the people, of color, of weather, of war, and everything else that others can't have. The Utopian society fated everyone to specific jobs; jobs that would relate to their childhood. Jonas was supposed to stay in the utopia and pass on the memories to the next person. He didn't do that. Instead, he ran away with his little brother and passed him memories of calmness, fullness, and other things to keep him calm and quiet. Jonas broke the fate of "the council" and ran away. This is another example of how fate is a very unstable, abstract thought and that you must be able to have control, otherwise all current examples of fate will be wiped out.
Cheap University Papers on Fate
Fate is a very vague term, sharing its source with destiny. Both have a specific meaning, but trying to put it as a label on something would prove to be a futile act. One is in control of their life; something is not in control of them. This is why I do not believe in pre-destination, or any other related idea.

The Scarlet Letter Symbolism-Triads
A bald eagle is a symbol for America. A lion is a symbol for of courage. A symbol is a sign or token of something, but when it comes to literary symbols things become more complex. The symbols in literary work do not have easily recognizable meanings. The meaning of the symbol comes from the works from which they are a part of. The use of triads, sets of threes, in The Scarlet Letter can mean birth, life, and death or beginning, middle, and end.
The characters within the novel itself create triads. Hester, Pearl, and Mr. Dimmesdale are one major triad. This set of three represents birth, life, and death. Pearl has been born; Hester has life with the bearing the Scarlet A, and Dimmesdale is dying with the guilt of containing his secret. When Hester is standing on the scaffold holding three-month-old Pearl in her arms, the magistrates demand the name of the father be declared. Dimmesdale himself calls over the balcony, " Be not silent from any mistaken pity and tenderness for him; for, believe me, Hester, though he were to step down from a high place, and stand there beside thee on thy pedestal of shame, yet better were it so, than to hide a guilty heart through life" (65).
The scaffold scenes also created a triad seeing that three times Hester and Pearl stand on the scaffold. What is symbolic of this triad is that it stands for another meaning of the symbol triads. These scenes show the beginning, middle and the end. The beginning of the book Hester was brought up to the scaffold for recognition of her sin. "Knowing well her part, she ascended a flight of wooden steps, and was thus displayed to the surroundings multitude, at about the height of a man's shoulders above the street" (54). Then in the middle of the book Dimmesdale walks to the scaffold in the middle of the night and sees Hester and Pearl walking and calls them up to the scaffold. "Come up hither, Hester, thou and little Pearl" (14). The three hold hands on the scaffold while the town is still sound asleep. In the end of the book Hester, Pearl, and Dimmesdale stand together on the scaffold once again, while Dimmesdale reveals himself as the father of Pearl. " Come, Hester, Come!" "Support me up yonder scaffold" (48).

Like all literary symbols the symbol takes on it's meaning within the text. In The Scarlet Letter triads can be a symbol for birth, life, and death as in the triangle of Hester, Dimmesdale, and Pearl, but also, triads can stand for the beginning, middle, and end as in the three scaffold scenes.

In today's society, the relationship between mother and child varies in each case. Some children get along well with their mothers while others never receive the affection they need. In the play Exits Exist by Paul M. Kelly, The image of the mother that is presented is controversial. The characters view their relationship with their mother very differently.
While she is portrayed as a mother who neglected her son Gabriel and blaming him for the father's death, she is also portrayed as a good mother by her daughter Diana, who was just under much stress after the father's death. Her image is sustained throughout the play when Gabriel reveals to the audience how he was treated by his mother. "…I was to blame. It was all my fault…" (Act I, Scene ).
She is portrayed as a terrible mother when Gabriel says that he was blamed in front of family and friends. "…when we were all in the backyard…yelling and screaming at me in front of everybody…" (Act I, Scene ). Gabriel never forgot that the reason he was blamed was because his father was rushing to get to his graduation. Whenever Gabriel speaks of his mother, he speaks with a tone of hate. He remembers how he was treated after his father's death and hates the fact that he was blamed for something that he couldn't control. He was forced to grow up without the affection of a mother, instead he grew up with guilt over his father's death and never received an apology.
Diana, however, speaks with a more sympathetic tone whenever her mother is brought up in conversation. It is revealed to the audience that her mother was very sick and suffered much throughout her sickness and the one thing she wanted to do before she died was to apologize to Gabriel for the blame of his father's death.
Cheap University Papers on Exits Exist
Throughout the play, the mother is never shown and is not there to defend herself from the views of either of her children. The mother being presented through the views of her children and their memory of growing up with her makes the story more dramatic since the reader does not know which of the characters are over exaggerating. It allows the reader to create their own perception of the mother since the story does not lean towards one point of view.
Children have different images of their mother as they grow up due to how they were raised. In Exits Exist, Diana and Gabriel had very different perceptions of their relationship with their mother. While Gabriel describes her as a horrible mother, Diana describes her as a good one. The mother is not present in the play to support either of her children's perceptions of her, which allows the reader to make up their own.

In Christina Rosetti's " Goblin Market" Rossetti examines a young girls curiosity with the unknown along with the danger and consequences of feeding into that curiosity.
With the beginning of "Goblin Market" establishes the lure of temptation, as we are greeted with "Plump unpecked cherries" and "Bloom-down-cheeked peaches" This can be paralleled to that of Eve and the forbidden fruit in the Garden. Initially Laura states that "We must not look at goblin men/ We must not buy their fruits" just as Eve initially states that "Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it". However when Laura sees the luscious fruit and Eve sees that the tree is pleasant to the eyes both forget their initial resistance to the temptation. As both of these women partake of their respective "fruits", the consequences for both women is .a lost of innocence. While Eve is banished from Eden, Laura's punishment for her loss of innocence is to become "sick". In this respect Rossetti parallels Laura's downfall with that of Jeanie, who also "ate the goblins fruits" and eventually died. It should also be noted that Jeanie should have been a bride, however, once she has experienced the incomparable fruit of the goblins and lost her innocence, she can no longer be the virginal maid and therefore can no longer be a "bride". At first it appears that Laura may experience the same fate. On eof the most obvious losses of innocence can be seen in the colour change of Laura's hair. Her hair, which had been so symbolically gold and bright in the early part of the poem, is now "grey", symbolizing that innocence has been lost and Laura must now live the life of an older depressed woman
Laura's decision to taste the fruit can also be viewed through the window of male temptation and the promise of good things in exchange for young girls freedom to live her life freely. The vivid images of "ripe berries and plum cherries" symbolize false security with and endless cash flow. In many societies women tend to succumb to the promise of a "sweet" life without evaluating what the price of that life. This can even be paralleled to young girls and the seemingly exponential increase of teen pregnancies. With these young ladies the promise of endless love and complete satisfaction much like "bright-fire berries and figs to fill you mouth, sweet to taste and sound to eye", seem to appease to a young girls dreams and fantasies.
There are many interpretations of what the actual " Goblin Market" is suppose to symbolize, however the most important moral to obtain form this poem is that temptation in whatever form, can undermine a persons plan for the future.

Recycling in Mozambique
In Mozambique there is not much recycling, apart from the paper recycling factory, which uses chemicals, which are harmful to the environment, which basically means its doing more harm than good. There is also a recycling centre, which is a very small contribution to the conservation of raw materials.
Unfortunately, there is little information of the quantities and types of recycling, practised in Mozambique. Therefore, we cannot fully complete this section of our project. We believe the cause of this lack of information is that there is no significant recycling in Mozambique.
We do know that, located in Mozambique, men and women, collect and clean glass in preparation to be recycled, but there is no proof that the process gets carried out, as year by year the piles of smashed glass grow bigger and numerous.
Do my essay on Recycling in Mozambique CHEAP !
Mozambique, as an alternative to composting, commonly burns the heaps of waste, whether in a landfill or sidewalk. This adds to long term problems, such as the greenhouse affect.
Why recycling should be practised?
ɨ Recycling conserves raw materials such as wood and minerals. If recycling is practised, the number of trees cut down per year will decrease, leading to less deforestation, which will help conserve habitats of animals, and the ecosystem will thrive.
ɨ It helps the economy, by creating new job opportunities.
ɨ It reduces the monetary and environmental costs of landfilling and incineration.
ɨ It conserves energy.
ɨ Landfills won't last, because they fill up, and contaminate groundwater, and release hazardous toxins.
ɨ Incineration does generate energy but Mozambique is ill equipped to use this energy as it does not have the facilities required, and generally waste is burnt in public areas, which can prove hazardous to the health of the surrounding public.
ɨ Mozambique could save a lot of money by recycling aluminium cans, as well as generate energy through the gases that are released from waste.
How Mozambique could accomplish these goals
ɨ The government could provide recycling centres, encouraging the public to recycle, by paying them for their waste.
ɨ The government could place recycling containers that would separate waste, making it easier to recycle.
ɨ Mozambique could build recycling factories, to renew waste materials, without harming the environment.
ɨ They could prioritise to make recycling more important, by encouraging the public to participate.

Canada is multicultural country, and every one is equal and everybody has freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication. But in china it is different. As we could see in novel, people of china and students didn't have freedom of what they believe. Also reporters didn't have freedom of press and communication. And Alex says life in Beijing was so complicate and difficult for him because he didn't have freedom of what he wants to do.
First of all the main point of Forbidden City was the demonstration and strike of Chinese students. The government of china didn't give students freedom of belief, opinion and expression. Civilization people of china could not say negative things about what they don't believe. The government didn't let them to what ever they want to say and what they want to believe, so that's why there were a huge demonstration in China in 18.
Secondly in Forbidden City the reports didn't have freedom of the press and media of communication. They were filming stealthy and they hid their cameras. Government of china didn't let them to taking film and making interviews with Chinese people, also the government didn't let Chinese Tv and news stations to show and say everything happened in demonstration. So reporters didn't have freedom of press and media of communication for what they want to show.
Finally in novel, Alex said his life in china was so difficult and sometimes it was boring. Because he didn't have rights which he has in Toronto. For example, he wanted to see his dad and go to hotel for visiting him, but they didn't let him. Also his Chinese friends and his dad didn't let me to go out wherever he wants. He should stay at hotel for while and it made his life more complicate and boring in china. He couldn't film what ever he wants because the government of china didn't let him and reporters to do that and he always hid his camera. So he didn't have freedom in china and that made him nervous and bored.
So in china students didn't have freedom of thoughts, belief, opinion and expression that's why they strike and demonstrate in Tian An Men Square for change in the government. Also Reporters didn't have freedom of press and media of communication and the government didn't let them to take videos or interviews with Chinese students. Alex didn't have freedom too, he always hid his camera and the older people didn't let him to do what ever he wants or wherever he wants to go.

To Be a Woman
Birth pangs, menstrual cramps, ah, the plights of being a woman! To endure the things we endure and then all the fights we have had to win to gain the freedoms we have, women have proven themselves an incredibly strong sex. In Nikki Giovanni's poem "Woman", she uses symbolism to describe the way women have had to constantly change to become something that gives them pride trying the whole time to please and get support from their male companions. A brief biography of Ms. Giovanni along with a detailed look at the poem itself will show the symbolism she uses to express her point.
Nikki Giovanni was born, Yolande Cornelia Giovanni, Jr. on 14 in Tennessee. She is best noted for her poetry that helped develop the African-American consciousness and pride. She writes mostly children's poems and has also interviewed both James Baldwin and Alice Walker. Her poem being discussed here, "Woman" is one of the few poems that is written concerning the trials that her gender has had to overcome.
Cheap Custom Essays on If I could Catch A Rainbow
The poem uses things in nature to symbolize dreams and goals that this woman wanted to accomplish and she was shot down by her male significant other who would not support her in her endeavors. First she talks about wanting to be a blade of grass, but he would not stand back and be the dandelion, in other words he wouldn't be the lesser in importance in comparison to her. Then, she decided to become a bird, but he wouldn't be the tree for her to sing in.
She also asks to be a web in his corner, a book for him to read, and a bulb for him to grow, all of which he declines to allow her to be. Finally, she says she will be a woman and even though he doesn't want to be the man she needs him to be, she accepts this and becomes what she wishes without his support or approval.
I enjoyed the way she used all this symbolism to highlight how woman have always wanted to be something that brought them and their men pride and joy, however all their aspirations have been nothing more then an obstacle for them, made so by the men that they wanted support from. Men have wanted women to stand back, out of the picture, and all women wanted was to be a shining star in something. Finding that star is what the woman in the poem is trying to do, asking her man to allow her to shine for a brief moment. When he forbids her, she decides to become the one thing that he can't go against, and that is to just be a woman and despite how hard he tries he will always be her complement, because he will always be her man.

This article reveals that children are very quick at picking up language. Psychologist Susan Goldin-Measow did an experiment. She videotaped eight deaf children, half in the US and half in Taiwan, playing with their mothers. All of the children were profoundly deaf. Instead of learning to lip-read they used a complex series of gestures to express their needs. The sequences were very complex. Golden says that language originated with the children and not with the parents. She discovered identical signing patterns among the deaf American and Taiwanese children. She found more in common between the children of both countries than the children and the parents. The deaf children who live at home together start to notice each other's gestures. This article linked a lot of research together into one article. It touched on matters that were important to the learning of the language. In this article it shows that gestures are the key to learning language. Children if puts in the predicament aren't going to learn by reading lips they are just going to used their hands.
The author did not have a hidden agenda or was at all bias. She obtained her info by doing a lot of experiments and analysis's, that led her to be able to write this article. She also accessed previously recorded knowledge because she has been working on projects and experiments similar to this one for years. All of this went together to back up the point she was trying to get across. The point she was trying to prove was that children are linked in all parts of the world and are very alike. Her article was based and backed up on facts, not her personal views.
The significance of this article is to inform everyone about the significance of hand gestures. Children do learn a lot that way. It was also to show the connection between children in all different parts of the world. Even though they may be far apart, those characteristics that they portray link them together in a way that is very important. This article is out there to prove to people that there are many links to different countries.
The most interesting fact in the article is the fact that children in different countries portray the same characteristics. Looking into the deaf was a great way to see the language develop in that way.
This isn't done yet, researchers are still looking into it and finding more evidence to prove that this subject is really true. Those gestures are in fact the key to learning.

Stereotyping In Pro Wrestling
For many years professional wrestling has entertained the public with its various storylines. What brings these storylines to life is the person who portrays these characters. Each character is unique and different. They come from many ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. The writing team who puts the storylines together brings characters to life based upon each athlete's ethnicity. Pro wrestling likes stereotypes.
In the early days of professional wrestling you would have a basic heel (villain) and a babyface (good guy) who would basically just get in the ring and wrestle each other. The characters were very plain, dull and not very original. It was almost like a boxing match without the gloves.
Wrestling did have an audience from around the 150s to around the mid 170s. Then wrestling began to lose some of its luster. It was then in 18, when Vince McMahon Jr. took over as the head of the World Wrestling Federation, when pro wrestling began a resurgence in popularity. Vince McMahon created some unique and different characters. What was so unique about McMahon's characters was that each one came from a different ethnicity. He created characters like Nikolai Volkoff, a Russian and the Iron Shiek from Iran who would feud with Americans like Sergeant Slaughter and Hulk Hogan. At the time these characters were created, the United States was in a political conflict with both the USSR and Iran. Some of Vince McMahon's other famous creations from the 180s were the Junkyard Dog who was the first popular African American superstar in the WWF. Junkyard Dog came to the WWF in the mid-80s and joined Hulk Hogan as one of the few elite performers during that time to pull down six-figure salaries, second only to Hogan as the companys top babyface. Junkyard Dog wore red tights, white boots, a dog collar and chain. What made him so popular was the fact that he walked around in a collar and chain which symbolized slavery and he fought for his freedom. After every victory, Junkyard Dog would do a dance which became his trademark and helped make him one of the most popular wrestlers of all time. The Junkyard Dog was one of the first wrestlers to enter the ring with his own musical theme, that being Another One Bites the Dust by Queen. Later in his career he came up with his own song in 186, called Grab Them Cakes with himself on lead vocals. Today entrance themes are a crucial part of a wrestler character. Junkyard Dog was also a crucial part of bringing African-Americans into pro wrestling. He can be compared to Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play major league baseball.

Drivers hit by petrol price rises
Petrol pump prices have risen by an average of p in the last two months, with a further rise expected next week.
Since reaching the years low-point of 74.6p a litre in mid-July, the average price of unleaded petrol has now risen to to 76.57, research from fleet and fuel management company Arval PHH showed.
Next week, a 1.8p a litre rise, deferred from the April 00 Budget, is expected to be introduced.
This additional rise will present an additional burden on both the beleaguered British motorist and UK plc, said Arvals fuel and business mobility managing director Danny Clenaghan.
He went on The impact on business will be particularly severe. A company with a fleet of 100 petrol-driven cars, each doing 10,000 business miles a year, could see its annual fuel bill rising by around £150,000.
The rise will bring the national average price of fuel to around 77.8p a litre for unleaded and 7p for diesel, although we are still some way off the 8p diesel prices that triggered the September 000 fuel protests.
Arvals figures showed that in August 00 the average price of unleaded petrol was 76.15p a litre.
The cheapest was to be found in Shoeburyness, Essex, at an average price of 7.15p, while the most expensive were Brora, Caithness and Wivelsfield, East Sussex, both at an average price of 8.p.
The average price of diesel in August was 77.10p a litre. The cheapest was to be found in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire, at an average price of 7.p, while the most expensive was the Isle of Arran at an average price of 86.0p.

Why The Drinking Age Should Be Lowered
The drinking age should be lowered and young adults should be allowed to consume alcohol in controlled environments such as restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. People today deserve the right to make responsible choices independently and educational programs and role models can help do this. Restricting the consumption of alcohol increases disobedience and theft among society; however, lowering the drinking age can reduce this. This suggestion will not drastically harm society, but rather keep underage drinking supervised and controlled.
The consumption of alcohol is looked upon as an adult activity and young individuals try to act older by imitated adult's actions. Young adults see heavy drinking as a "cool" thing to do. Also under age drinking is seen as rebellious behaviour so more young individuals drink at a young age irresponsibly. By reducing the legal drinking age, drinking will not be seen as a forbidden act and young individuals will learn to drink responsibly.
Individuals will be more aware of the responsibilities of mature drinking as well as the dangers through educational programs at school and at home. The R.I.D.E program is strongly implemented in the Greater Toronto Area and more programs should be enforced to demonstrate responsible drinking. Alcohol is easily available to young individuals whether they take it from home or through older friends or family members. Society should focus on educated young people rather than spending large sums of money catching those who buy or sell alcohol to under age individuals.
Buy Why drinking age should be loweredby daniel f term paper
Other countries such as Italy, Greece, China, France and Mexico have a low drinking age and there are few related drinking problems. Social pressure is minimal and many individuals learn how to handle alcohol responsibly at home. If the awareness of consuming alcohol in a mature manner is introduced at a young age, teenagers will not take advantage of the beverage, as they get older. Therefore, responsibility should be introduced at a young age.
Lowering the legal drinking age will create more responsible individuals through educational programs and removing the concept of rebelliousness that has proven to work in other countries. People make choices to consume alcohol whether they are the legal age or not, but by making it available to them they will develop responsibility and the will understand the dangers of alcohol.

1/1/00
On a day in March while I was hanging out with my friends two of the girls there wanted to get into a fight with another girl. Well they did fight and when the victim went to the police she stated that I pushed her in the middle of the road and was then almost struck by a car. Upon hearing this I knew that this was untrue so I asked the officer to take my statement but he said "No I'm too busy try on Sunday." So before taking hearing both sides of the story he wrote me a citation for Disorderly Conduct, and told me when I had to appear in court. After numerous trips (four) to court with time missed from school and my mom missing either work or classes. I am now finished with court, but only because the charges were dropped and plea of guilty to a Violation of Probation was taken instead, for acting inappropriately in public, which was one of my conditions of release. Which for a moment I did.
Now I am supposed to write an essay on what I learned from this experience. From now on I'm going to remove myself from some of the activities my friends participate in. Now you might say I should not hang out with these kids period if that's what happens when I do. Well here's the thing, these kids aren't just kids that I met on the street one day and started hanging out with, these have been my friends for past two years, and these kids were willing to admit their own guilt and still claim my innocence no matter how long it took and they did. Still to this day they claim my innocence and think it was total bullshit that I had to go through all that just to have the charges dropped, well I do to and think it's a little messed up when the state can bring you to court when all they have for evidence is a statement given by a runaway delinquent (that nobody seems to be able to control) who is in more trouble than I am right now. I have learned that one person can cause a lot of trouble for another person just by saying whatever they want even if what their saying is not true. I have also learned that I am guilty until I can prove myself innocent and not the other way around. I have lost a lot of faith in the justice system. There should be a better way to get at the truth then to just take the word of one of the victims. There were at least 5 other people involved. Don't their statements matter as citizens?
In conclusion I did make some inappropriate comments that day and for that I am sorry. I would just like to say that from now I will be aware of where I am and avoid being in the wrong place at the wrong time and avoid situations such as this as best I can, but there is one thing I will continue to do and that is be around the people who treat me the way I want to be, the ones I call my friends.

Population Growth
Population growth is an extremely relevant study considering its boom in recent centuries and consequently the problems that this may cause on resources. It has therefore become imperative to develop means by which population sizes can be predicted into the future. This can achieved through mathematical modeling whereby a function is attached to a population growth curve.
The purpose of this investigation is to create such a function from the population growth curve of England and Wales from 1801 to 151.
Write your How to be a king research paper
NB Although most populations follow a relatively sequential and predictable growth, the fact that population growth is a biological process means that mathematical modeling will never be a perfect means of predicting future populations. Erratic abiotic factors can disrupt normal growth in a capricious and unpredictable manner. Nevertheless, modeling does offer a useful, albeit limited means of looking into the future from our observations of the past and at the moment it is our only means of doing so.
Population Growth Curve for England and Wales 1801-151 (fig 1.0)
The curve follows a growth pattern similar to exponential growth from 1801 to 111. At this point there is a noticeable drop in growth which largely falls away from the expected growth of the curve. Growth for 111 to 151 is largely constant.
Since
Population growth = birth rate death rate
The sudden change in concavity from 111 onwards could be due to the extremely high death rate during World War One. This very drastically upset the growing but balance between these two variables from 1801 to 111. During WWI a very high death rate destroyed this steady growth reducing the difference and consequently resulting in a much lower growth rate for this time period. When modeling this curve the prevalent growth rate before 111 can be taken with an adjustment for the change during 111 to 11. Also, the time period 141 to 151 also experienced a war further disrupting the growth. The sudden change can further be expressed in figures
Furthermore an average per year can be taken clearly illustrating the sudden change in growth.
Although this is a very superficial calculation it clearly demonstrates the change in growth. Also, this calculation works on the assumption that growth is constant which is not necessarily true as the curve is in fact exponential.
Total Population change from 1801 to 151 = 48655 people
Average population change = 46 people per annum
Average Growth Rate
Average growth rate This is the increase in population per annum
This equation ultimately is exactly the same as the equation for gradient
as population rises on the y-axis and time on the x-axis.

Essays on Bluetooth Technology6 Looking after your teeth
By the way if, youre wondering where the Bluetooth name originally came from, it named after a Danish Viking and King, Harald Blåtand (translated as Bluetooth in English), who lived in the latter part of the 10th century. Harald Blåtand united and controlled Denmark and Norway (hence the inspiration on the name uniting devices through Bluetooth). He got his name from his very dark hair which was unusual for Vikings, Blåtand means dark complexion. However a more popular, (but less likely reason), was that Old Harald had a inclination towards eating Blueberries , so much so his teeth became stained with the colour, leaving Harald with a rather unique set of molars. And you thought your teeth were bad...
Abstract
This paper discusses what is Bluetooth and where it got its name from. It shows how in 184 Ericsson Corporation began a study to examine radio links as an alternatives to the cables that linked its mobile phones with accessories. Out of this study came the specifications for Bluetooth wireless technology which means one no longer needs to connect, plug into, install, enable or configure the device settings . The paper describes the technology used, the IEEE standards utilized with Bluetooth, regulation of Bluetooth, its develoment and possible risks of utilizing Bluetooth.
From The Paper
The Bluetooth Special Interest Group, or SIG, is a group of companies working together to promote and define the Bluetooth specifications. The Bluetooth SIG was founded by five companies to develop the Bluetooth concept as a viable wireless technology standard. The companies are Ericsson, Intel, IBM, Toshiba and Nokia. Other companies like Microsoft, Lucent, Com and Motorola later joined the Bluetooth SIG. To date, more than 1,500 companies have joined this group and the specifications are developed, published and promoted by the Bluetooth SIG.

Indian Cuisine is gaining popularity around globe because it is easy to prepare, tasty and its mainstay is grains which is what people want today. They want meals that are high in carbohydrates, have ample amounts of a variety of vegetables and contain complete proteins of sparse amounts of Indian food provides this and more; it also has the health promoting properties of various herbs, ginger and spices. Thus, Indian Cuisine is become popular due to its exotic flavors, easy to cook, different variety and healthful preparations.
What is Indian Cuisine? Why are Indian foods typically spicy? How is Indian cuisine differentiated both by religion and geography? How long does it take to cook certain dishes? How long does herbs taste different in certain dishes? These are some of the questions that are needed to be answered to inform my audience about Indian Cuisine. And the best part through which I can explain these points out are my emotional appeals and personal experiences as a lover of Indian food.
There are some basic spices that form the mainstay of many Indian dishes across the subcontinent. These are turmeric, chilli powder, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, ginger, garlic, mustard seeds, and fenugreek seeds. Of course many more spices such as cloves, cardamoms, and cinnamon are used for the more exotic and richer dishes. Spices can completely dominate and dish and so they should be used with care-for the art of Indian cooking lies in its subtle use of spices.
Although most of the world's religions exist in India, the two principal cultures that have influenced eating and cooking habits are the Hindu and the Muslim. As each new wave of settlers arrived in India they brought with them some of their own culinary practices, but over the years adopted a lot from the Indian scene and mixed the two to perfection. Thus, "Indian Cuisine" is a conglomerate of regional cuisines that have widely varying culinary characteristics. The spice and variety in dishes may make the audience think that it takes too long to cook certain dishes. But changing time and style has caused media and market to create faster procedures and precooked foods in cans and now get ready in minutes.
Custom writing service can write essays on Indian Cuisine
Herbs and spices play the most important role in "Indian Cuisine". Many times when certain herbs are used in a dish they taste different in every part you eat. The blend, mixture, and the way used to make the dish is what the taste of herbs taste of herbs depend upon.
Lastly, but not least, as a lover of Indian food in my opinion the essence of good Indian cooking revolves around the appropriate use of aromatic dishes. Therefore, "Indian Cuisine" is something to enjoy by experiencing the taste rather than expressing its deliciousness.

I wish that this story would have the happy ending that we all love and adore, but unfortunately, this is only the beginning of my war with trust. My father has put me into the most difficult situation thinkable. Should I hint the man I love to the door of death? Should I hint him to the door with the perfect damsel behind it?
My man trusts me to send him to the right door, and in his position, he is preferring the door with the lady behind it. This is the exact reason why I can't trust him right now. I know that he will fall madly in love with that gorgeous lady…who wouldn't? I am sad to say this, but jealousy has got the best of me. I am just going to have to follow my heart and do this for me.
First, let me use my brain really quick before thinking with my heart. If I direct him to the door with the tiger behind it, then I will have to watch my love get shredded by those awful fangs and huge claws. On the other hand, it would be just as painful for me to watch him get married to the most gorgeous damsel throughout the land. Does a semi-barbaric princess really need to make these types of decisions?
Well, I have made my decision. I think my heart will be the best choice here, and I just took action. I directed my man to the door with the tiger behind it. I know it's terribly selfish of me, and I know that it will be the heaviest weight on my shoulders for quite a long time. I'm sure he will want me to move on with my life no matter what though. There is no possible way we will ever be together again.
Write your The Lady, or the Tiger? research paper
Hold up a second! Who is that prince over there in the third row looking better than ever? Oh-my-gosh! He is looking this way. I hope my hair is all in place. Wait a second! What am I doing? I can't let that other guy I was in love with five seconds ago die now.
Now this is when my great acting skills come in handy. Without thinking, I started acting like I was seriously choking. The man I was currently in love with came over to "save" me, and the man I was in love with five seconds ago stopped pacing towards the door to my right and looked up. After my new current man was done breaking my ribs (thinking he was helping), I threw my upper body over the balcony and sharply pointed to the door to my left. My lover from five seconds ago got the message and went to that door.
In the end, we both turned out just fine. I got married a couple weeks after the trial at the arena, and my ex-lover was married that day. It hurt my heart to see him go with that other perfect lady, but now I have my new prince. Who knew that I would meet the man that I will definitely love forever at such an awkward place and time.

1. From what kind of crisis was Athens suffering before Solon was given power?
Factually, there were two main problems in Athens then. The first problem was the large amount of political parties. The second problem was an inequali
ty of people.
The amount of political parties was really big one party for one region. The party of the Men of the Mountains was democratic. The party of the Men o

Another, more important, problem was the inequality between poor and rich people. Actually, all the population was in debt of the rich. People were alm
ost enslaved.
So, the situation was so unstable, that there appeared the need of tyranny the power of one person, who would protect, redistribute, devise and refor

. Why was Solon selected?
Solon was not only well-educated and intelligent person with high moral qualities, but he also was in good relations both with poor and rich.
Solon was really a smart, clever and spiritually developed person. He was a lover of knowledge and educated himself during entire life. He traveled a
lot, acquired friends and gained experience.
In addition, Solon alone had no enemies neither from rich people, nor from poor. He had enough money not to borrow and he didnt share injustice of the
rich. Moreover, he himself took the position of the poor rather than of the rich because he says that many evil men are rich and many good men are poor...
.
. How did Solon reform Athens?
In addition to help in discharging of debts, Solon has provided two very significant, important and appropriate reforms in Athens.
Firstly, he abolished all of the laws of Draco because of their harshness and the severity of punishment.
Secondly, he created a very developed system of Corn-measures, Cavalries, Ox-owners and Men without property. So, he had given more power to t
he demos.
He denied all products, except for oil, to be exported, because of unhealthy import/export practice, which existed then.
So, Solon had done a good job and had written really the best laws they (Athenians) could have received.
4. What factors motivated Solon to encourage foreigners to settle in Athens?
Solon gave the right to become the citizen only to people on exile and to merchants, which wanted to settle down in the city permanently with the entir
e family for trading. The purpose of such a decision was to attract tradesmen to the city, to support economy and, afterwards, enrich the city.

In addition to that one of the students enrolling into this four-month program was expected to get a summer job at Apotex inc..I was willing to take part in the program mainly because of the impressive summer job opportunity.
For the first three months we were exposed to different areas of the company .I did fairly good on the first few meetings with our mentors from Apotex inc. There used to be a question session after every meeting, which I always took part in and then we used to get different tasks as homework, I made sure I was In time to hand those in. Thus I was a prominent student in the program and it looked like I would get the summer job for sure.

The last meeting of the program was to meet a mentor. Every student had to go to the office of the company and see an employee. I was scheduled to see the Associate, professional Affairs of the company, Christopher Potter on the 5th of December.I made all the efforts to get done with my other projects so I can go see Chris on the set date. I tried to manage hard but the school workload was just too much for me to handle and I could not make a final appointment with Chris. All other students went and met their mentors. I felt really bad about it and didn't want to quit. Two weeks after my appointment date, I decided to call Chris and tell him I want to see him on a new date but I didn't have his contact number. I talked to the program incharge teacher but she told me that the program was over and she could not help me.
Though after a lot of struggle I finally made to see Chris but I had lost the opportunity to qualify for the summer job that could have turned into my full time future job. Just one meeting that I missed wiped out all the efforts I made throughout the three months. I only got % bonus and also got the certificate for participating in the program.
I have learned that to get the best, you have to prove you are the best. You have to go above and beyond to show your abilities. You have to be organized and have to have good team working skills and willingness to accept responsibilities. A little mistake can make you pay a high price.

Life in new place with different educational system and language may cause culture shock. . For example, the student may come from a country where the goal of education is to teach an agreed body of knowledge and students are expected to know a large number of facts by rote. They will therefore be unused to learning by discovery and critical thinking that is required in American educational system. They may feel threatened also by the degree of participation expected of them in class, preferring to remain silent and also ask questions like students who come from East Asia. Being praised in front of others causes some students embarrassment; others feel uncomfortable when asked to share opinions and beliefs, which are usual in American educational system. Being not able to speak the language fluently or understand many new idioms, and by not know how to behave in an unfamiliar culture. Not only is the language different, but also gestures, facial expressions, and traditions are different. Newcomers can sometimes feel like children because they cannot understood these new things at once. That also caused stress as the difference of educational system for international student which lead to culture shock.

If students have arrived from their home country where their parents are taking care of them, they may find it difficult to come to terms with the completely independent in them selves. How they make decisions, how they spend their leisure time, how they resolve conflicts are very arduous for them in the first few months from their arrived. For example I faced many difficulties that I can't handle it well because I used to tell my parents about my problems and they told me, depend in their experience in the life, the best solution for the problem. That made me stressful in the first time, as a result I felt culture shock and want to return back home as soon as possible. But now I can decide and resolve my problem alone.
